I know the recommended age was a year old...however, my baby hair was unmanageable no lie. From birth none of it fell out. So it was really thick and stayed dry dull. I use about a dime size amount in every other day and it has worked wonders. We are able to have small ponytails. I have been using this product for almost 3 weeks and will be getting more. I love the Shea Butter!!! It's growing my girls hair like crazy. You have to use it the recommended every 4 days to get the best results. My only problem is that I wish they sold bigger jars of it. I use it on me and my daughter's hair but it is too expensive to really order it like I want to. I love even the smell of it.
